National Youth Week in Palmerston went off well on Saturday. Goyder Square was pumping with music on stage, and marquees, BBQ, Rockclimbing wall (I want to get one in my backyard), giant swing and other attractions. Thanks to the organisers for such a great event. It was great to see Mayor Robert Macleod having a chat to youth during the night.

Palmerston needs infrastructure for young people. What about a local Waterpark for Palmerston? Has the Territory Government even put this in the budget yet? The Waterpark in Leanyer is great... for those in Darwin, or those who are able to drive. Palmerston is asking nicely for a Waterpark of our own. (What do you think?!). Budget Allocation Needed.

Do you feel safe in Palmerston? I was speaking with some friends recently of stories of people being bashed, hassled for money and the like. The top end needs to be a safe place. Thanks for organisations like Neighbourhood Watch and others, that work to make Palmerston a safe place.
