Well, I haven't blogged very recently on Palmerston Daily. But, it's 1st September, and its Spring time. The build-up is building, and we're all starting to get used to the heat.
Lately, in Palmerston, at the Salvos, we've been enjoying our Mainly Music Programs. This is a music program for Pre-Schoolers and their families, which involved singing many children's tunes, and dancing around and sharing some food together. Sunday nights is an amazing time, because not only do we sing and dance at 5 o'clock, but we join together for dinner, and then have some sort of discussion and interaction with a Christian theme. The families love it, because it's welcoming, and not too 'ram it down your throat' kind of message about God, and it's fun!
It's important that we build great community spirit in the work that we do. You may work locally, at the local Brumbies, or drive into the city, or the mines... no matter where, if you are in a team environment, work hard at building community spirit! Encourage people.
We love Palmerston! That's our message to our community.
